We were asked to come up with an artistic and informational solution to a public library. I managed the creative, design and animation process.
The collage video art wall we built on the main wall in the space presented our vision of "how books are born". The collage consisted of 10 LFD screens and 12 still images that completed the video played on the screens both visually and conceptually. An imaginary book machine produces ideas and letters that make up books that come out of the production line directly into a physical cardboard. The idea was to produce video art that would not be burdensome, would blend harmoniously into the space and will offer visitors an imaginary thinking angle in the transition between floors.
3 interactive screens we have placed throughout the library, allowed visitors to be exposed to the various activities taking place in the library, new or recommended books and various news updated by the library staff in a separate online system we have provided for them.
